On
our rifle hunts we manage over 95% success. We have a very large
hunting area and limit the hunting pressure, so the quality stays
consistent year after year.
Rifle
Hunting Mule Deer
Our mule deer hunting is exceptional. We consistently take 4 point
(one side) or better bucks with 25-28 inch outside spreads. We
take Boone and Crocket bucks every year. 80% of the land we control
has a "4 point rule". This means that a mule deer must
have a total of four points on one side before you can shoot it.
This is our camp rule, not a state regulation, and this rule insures
that mature bucks will always be available on the lands we hunt.
If you are willing to hunt hard for up to 5 days, you have an
excellent chance of taking a real trophy. Methods of hunting mule
deer with a rifle vary hut we mostly glass from ridge tops until
we spot a buck, then put a stalk on him to get close enough for
a good shot. Other methods we use for rifle mule deer hunting
include sitting in blinds near natural food sources, ambushing
on trails and rattling during the rut. Contact
us for a current price list for details and different options.
Rifle Hunting Whitetails
We also have the "4 point rule" on whitetail deer during
the rifle season. The "4 point rule" means a whitetail
must have at least 4 Points on one side before you can shoot it.
Again, this is our camp rule, not a state regulation and it helps
to insure that we will always have mature whitetail. Whitetail
scoring 140 are common arid there are whitetail in our areas that
score up to 180 points. One of our most exciting hunts is rattling
whitetail during the rut. We have had as many as six whitetail
bucks come into us during one rattling session. Patient hunters
take the big ones. Contact us for a

Rifle
Hunting Antelope
Antelope thrive on the wide-open plains just to the north and
east of the Bull Mountains. These wide-open plains of Montana
are known as "Big Sky Country". Although this country
is open, it has canyons and creeks that make for putting on a
good stalk. You can expect shots in the 100 to 300 yard range.
Antelope hunting can be very exciting since you rarely go for
a minute or two without seeing buck antelope. As with any of our
hunts, patience and persistence will usually earn you a nice trophy
Antelope can be hunted alone or in combination with other hunts.
